Frank Marrenbach, CEO Oetker Collection, awarded Leading Legend by the Leading Hotels of the World Oetker Collection team is delighted to announce that Frank Marrenbach has been awarded Leading Legend by the Leading Hotels of the World on the occasion of their Annual Convention in Cannes. This accolade is the acknowledgement of the efforts provided by all the Oetker Collection hoteliers in the last ten years. Frank’s passion for excellence and quality are evident through his longstanding career with the Oetker Group. He started with the Oetker Group in 1997 as Resident Manager of Brenners Park Hotel & Spa in Baden-Baden where he has served as Managing Director since 2000. Prior to this, Frank worked in some of Europe’s most prestigious luxury hotels, including The Berkeley in London and Hotel de Crillon in Paris. Naturally kind and patient, Frank is a gifted hotelier, who throughout his 20 years of experience in the industry has exemplified total empathy for his guests, employees, partners and hotels, acting as a formidable ambassador for the arts and culture and Leading Hotels’ premium destinations. Since 2008, as CEO, Frank has overseen the Oetker Hotel Management Company based in Baden-Baden. In this role, he has thoughtfully expanded the portfolio, emphasizing growth with the right hotels, with an eye towards quality, over growth for growth’s sake. Initially based on four owned properties – Brenners Park-Hotel & Spa, Baden-Baden, Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc, Antibes, Château Saint-Martin & Spa in Vence, Côte d’Azur and Le Bristol Paris – the collection now includes an additional six managed hotels – Palácio Tangará in São Paulo, Fregate Island Private in Seychelles, L’Apogée Courchevel, Eden Rock-St Barths, the Lanesborough in London, and the brand-new Jumby Bay Island in the Caribbean.From 2005 to 2016, Frank played a key role in the evolution of Leading Hotels, serving as an active and engaged member of the LHW Executive Committee, including a term as vice chairman and chairman of the audit committee.
