October 2025: Pioneering transformative wellness destination Chiva-Som Hua Hin in Thailand, invites guests to embrace a journey of mindful transformation with Retreat and Renew, an inspired programme of mindful activities that celebrates digital detox, sustainable wellness, and reflective celebration.

From October to December 2025, Chiva-Som Hua Hin presents a calendar of immersive experiences and complimentary group classes that encourage self-awareness, connection, and gratitude, guiding guests to restore balance and vitality through holistic wellbeing, mindful nutrition, and the joy of shared experiences.

Chiva-Som Hua Hin unveils a new culinary journey: Taste of Indochina at The Emerald Room

The Emerald Room restaurant introduces a vibrant culinary voyage through Southeast Asia’s bold and aromatic flavours. The menu celebrates the spices of Laos, Vietnam’s herbs, and Cambodia’s citrus-bright freshness - crafted in harmony with Chiva-Som’s philosophy of health and vitality. Celebrating the region’s rich diversity, the menu remains true to Chiva-Som’s guiding principles of wholesome, balanced, and health-conscious cuisine. Each dish blends nourishment and enjoyment, reminding guests that health and indulgence can coexist. At Chiva-Som, food is a cornerstone of transformation, aligning body, mind, and spirit in harmony, while honouring the joy of taste.

The Communal Table at The Emerald Terrace

The Communal Table, crafted sustainably from upcycled coconut husks, offers wholesome dishes shared against the serene backdrop of the sea. Guests are encouraged to disconnect from devices and reconnect through conversation with other guests, presence, and the tranquil rhythm of the waves.

OCTOBER: GUIDED NUTRITION AND MINDFULNESS

October at Chiva-Som Hua Hin honours the art of slowing down and reconnecting - with oneself, with others, and with the natural world. Focusing on digital detox and mindfulness, this month’s activities encourage guests to pause and be present through conscious nourishment, movement, and stillness.

Throughout October: Nutrition and Mindful Living with Visiting Consultant Lucja Maslowska

London-based visiting consultant Lucja Maslowska, an expert in medical massage and Chinese medicine, will lead a series of twice-weekly Guided Nutrition & Lifestyle Sessions to help guests identify nutritional imbalances and incorporate wholesome eating into daily life. She will also host weekly complimentary Breathing Exercises for Wellbeing, focusing on techniques that reduce stress and improve the quality of breath, highlighting its significant impact on body, mind, health, and overall wellbeing. Both programmes, designed to promote greater awareness of the body’s needs, continue in November.

NOVEMBER: SUSTAINABLE WELLNESS

November celebrates the theme of sustainable wellness, highlighting mindful living as the foundation of long-term health. This month’s activities encourage conscious choices that nurture both the planet and the self.

Throughout November: Japanese Facial Wellness with Visiting Consultant Masa Sugiyama

Renowned holistic beauty and Japanese cranium & facial sculpting specialist Masa Sugiyama returns to Chiva-Som to offer her signature Masa Method®, combining gentle cranial and facial techniques to restore natural harmony and vitality. Her weekly complimentary workshops include the Anti-Ageing Face & Neck Sculpting Exercise, focusing on natural facial exercises to refine contours and reduce wrinkles, and Facial Shaping with Posture Correction, exploring how posture alignment enhances facial tone and symmetry, providing a more youthful appearance. The benefits of better posture also extend to improved spinal health, pain reduction, and a boost in overall quality of life. Both sessions continue through December.

5 November: Loy Krathong Celebration

Loy Krathong is a time to give thanks, with offerings traditionally made to the source of all life - water. It is also an opportunity to let go of past worries and give way to renewal. Guests are invited to the Orchid Lounge to admire handcrafted krathongs, the small decorative floats made from banana leaves that are synonymous with the festival.   A ceremonial parade honouring Nang Noppamas, the historical figure credited with founding the festival, will give guests the opportunity to float their own krathongs in the pool under the moonlight. The evening concludes with a candlelit dinner featuring Thai performances and a traditional pageant during which a modern-day Nang Noppamas is selected to lead the parade, chosen for their grace and creativity.

28 November: Testosterone Thieves

Chiva-Som Hua Hin's naturopathic consultant Patience Sangwa will discuss how hormonal balance is key to longevity and the importance of maintaining optimal testosterone levels for cognitive health, mood regulation, and vitality in both men and women. This complimentary talk will also shed light on common obstacles to maintaining optimal testosterone levels.

10 November: Fall Prevention in Older Adults

Chiva-Som Hua Hin’s Health & Wellness advisor will present a weekly class focusing on practical strategies and exercises to maintain balance and prevent injury. This class will return on 8 December.

Weekly throughout November: Functional Movement Training: YBell Essentials, LMT, AquaX and Lumbo-Pelvic Rhythm Exercise

YBell Essentials - This dynamic movement programme focuses on building strength, mobility, and endurance through innovative ways. Designed to enhance strength, endurance, and functional performance, this session utilises the YBell, a versatile piece of equipment that combines the benefits of dumbbells, kettlebells, medicine balls, and push-up stands in one.

LMT Class (Loaded Movement Training) - A dynamic and functional training programme designed to enhance mobility, strength, stability, and overall athletic performance. Utilising the ViPR (Vitality, Performance, Reconditioning) training tool, participants will engage in a wide range of multi-directional, loaded-movement exercises that simulate real-life activities. The class emphasises natural movement patterns, core activation, and total-body conditioning, making it suitable for athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and anyone seeking to improve strength and resilience in daily life.

AquaX Class - An innovative fitness programme that utilises water-filled training bags to create a unique, full-body workout experience. By harnessing the natural instability of water, every movement engages the core, improves balance, and enhances functional strength. This class is designed to challenge stability, build muscular strength, endurance, and promote joint-friendly training suitable for all fitness levels.

Lumbo-Pelvic Rhythm Exercise - Lumbo-pelvic rhythm exercises help coordinate movement between the lumbar spine and pelvis, promoting optimal mobility and stability. Strengthening the core and pelvic floor through lumbopelvic rhythm exercises can support improved spinal alignment, increased functional strength, and reduced risk of lower back or pelvic dysfunction.
